Municipal Union of Tyre was established by Decree No. 9761 on March 11, 2003. It is subject to Decree No. 5595/82 and initially consisted of 20 municipalities. The number of member municipalities has since increased, reaching 55 in 2021.
The Union is located in  Tyre district within the South Lebanon Governorate.

تأسس اتحاد صور بموجب المرسوم رقم 9761 في 11 آذار (مارس) 2003. وهو خاضع للمرسوم رقم 5595/82 وكان يتألف في البداية من 20 بلدية. وقد ارتفع عدد البلديات الأعضاء منذ ذلك الحين ليصل إلى 55 بلدية في عام 2021.
يقع الاتحاد في قضاء صور ضمن محافظة لبنان الجنوبي.

The Municipal Union of Tyre intends to conduct a direct contracting with Innovative Institutional Ideas SARL, in order to maintain the Union’s administrative and financial information systems for a year.

يعتزم إتحاد بلديات قضاء صور إجراء اتفاق رضائي مع شركة أفكار مؤسسية مبتكرة ش.م.م وذلك بغية صيانة أنظمة المعلومات الادارية والمالية في الاتحاد  وذلك لمدة عام كامل.
